1994-95: graduate assistant to Wimp Sanderson at the University of Arkansas Little Rock
1995-98: administrative assistant first season, director of basketball operations the second season, then promoted to assistant coach his third season with Mark Gottfried at Murray State University; MSU advanced to two NCAA (1997 & 1998) and the NIT postseason tournaments during that tenure.
