Police arrest man in sexual abuse case

TUSCALOOSA | Tuscaloosa police arrested a man Friday afternoon and charged him with sexually abusing a child.
Ablee Bill Johnson, 23, was charged with two counts of sexual abuse of a child younger than 12, two counts of sodomy and resisting arrest.
According to a Tuscaloosa Police Department news release, a warrant for Johnson’s arrest was obtained by police Wednesday and he was arrested at 2:30 p.m. Friday by investigators in the 2400 block of Herman Avenue after officers chased him on foot.
Johnson was placed in the Tuscaloosa County Jail where he remained Friday evening on $201,000 bail.
