Arrests

Thursday

Lester Terrell, 25, 11900 block of Stanley Loop Road, Brookwood, was charged with first-degree theft. Bail was set at $10,000.

Marshal Scott Davenport, 20, 5500 block of Old Montgomery Highway, was charged with unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle. Bail was set at $5,000.

Wednesday

Shanna Marie Bilyen, 29, 3600 block of Diamond Head Lane, Northport, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a precursor item. Bail was set at $30,000.

Tuscaloosa Police

Thefts

Sunglasses valued at $1,000 were taken from a store in the 1700 block of McFarland Boulevard between 2:30 and 6 p.m. Saturday.

A vehicle was purchased using counterfeit checks at a location in the 3700 block of Greensboro Avenue at 10 a.m. Sept. 30.

Fraud/forgery/identity theft

A person's identity was fraudulently used to write and cash checks at a location in the 2500 block of Sixth Street between 10:09 p.m. Aug. 13 and 10:09 p.m. Aug. 15.

Vehicle thefts

A 2002 Chevrolet Silverado was taken from the Eastwood subdivision between 9 p.m. Wednesday and 6 a.m. Thursday.

A 2004 Chevrolet Silverado was taken from a location in the 200 block of Cedar Crest between 8:30 p.m.

Vehicle break-ins

Electronics and change were taken from a 2003 Honda Civic in the 1900 block of Fifth Avenue East between 9 p.m. Wednesday and 12:45 p.m. Thursday.

A wallet and cash were taken from a Jeep Liberty in the 2600 block of 21st Street between 10 p.m. Tuesday and 7:45 a.m. Wednesday.

A radio was taken from a Nissan Maxima in the 4800 block of Cypress Creek Avenue East at 1 p.m. Tuesday.

Burglary

Copper pipe was taken from a water heater in the 2100 block of Jemison Avenue at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Tuscaloosa county sheriff's office

Theft was reported at a location

on Davis Creek Road in McCalla

between 4 p.m. Sept. 26 and 5 p.m.

Sept. 29. A 2005 Ford Explorer valued at $12,000 was taken.
