Shaggy3391: what is the word on Tana Patrick?

Andrew Bone: Tana is keeping a low profile this season, but Alabama is considered the team to beat. He took an unofficial visit Saturday to Alabama. He probably will not make a decision until after the season.

gunnelschris: Andrew, are you hearing anything one way or the other on Ronnie Wingo?

Andrew Bone: I have heard Alabama has made up a lot of ground. Missouri was considered the heavy favorite. Arkansas is in the mix as well.

Shaggy3391: What is your feeling on Petey Smith? AU or UA?

Andrew Bone: He is saying Alabama is the favorite, but Auburn is considered the team to beat for his signature.

gunnelschris: Do you think Gilmore and Gordon are an either/or for us?

Andrew Bone: I think Alabama will take both.

InSabanWeTrust9: AB will bama take any other RB's? if so who

Andrew Bone: Maybe...The staff is recruiting a few guys like Eddie Lacy, De'Antwan Williams, Montrell Conner.

gunnelschris: Do you think Gene Robinson is a backup plan, or would the coaches actually accept his commitment at this point?

Andrew Bone: Robinson may lose a chance to commit to Alabama if Gilmore decides for the Tide.

Shaggy3391: Where would Markeith Ambles rank if he was in this years class? Where do you think he'll rank next year?

Andrew Bone: He will definitely rank as one of the top receivers in the country. He will push for the top receiver spot in the SE next year. I have liked this player for a long time. Alabama is the current favorite.

Shaggy3391: Any QB's that look really good for next yr.?

Andrew Bone: The Alabama coaching staff is in on quite a few quarterbacks. They really like Terrence Broadway from Louisiana. Alabama is at the top of his list.

gunnelschris: What's your opinion on Kevin Norwood? I definately think higher of him than one of the other Scout analysts and was surprised by that response.

Andrew Bone: Not sure who responded, but I really like Kevin Norwood. Right now He is having a great year and certainly has turned a lot of heads. Bear in mind, he's likely not going to a Mississippi school.

gunnelschris: Do you think Alabama will cease to be Ambles' favorite when UGA offers?

Andrew Bone: I think Alabama could easily remain the team for Ambles even with a UGA offer. Very early though.

EETider777: Sorry, I was a little late getting in. Have you discussed whether we should be looking for any commits coming in the next week or two?

Andrew Bone: You're not too late. Alabama should land a couple of commitments over the next few weeks. Gilmore is one possibility. Norwood is likely to decide after the Ole MIss game. Bumphis plans to visit for the Ole Miss game as well. Jonathan Scott will take an official visit.
