Mr. and Mrs. Larry Leatherwood of Tuscaloosa announce the engagement of their daughter, Keta Leatherwood, to Lindsey Swain Jr., son of Lindsey Swain Sr. and Frankie Swain of East Point, Ga.

The wedding will be at 3 p.m. on Sept. 13 at the Clarkston First Baptist Church in Clarkston, Ga.

The bride-elect is a 1996 graduate of Central High School and attended DeVry University and Troy University in Atlanta, where she received a master's degree in management.

The prospective groom and the bride-elect are the owners of PreEminent Motors in Tucker, Ga.
