UA's Ekey recognized as Player to Watch

TUSCALOOSA | The University of Alabama women's golf team and senior Kathleen Ekey were recognized by Golf World in its latest preseason college coaches poll and its list of the top 50 female 'Players to Watch.' The content, which is part of Golf World's annual college preview issue, will be featured in the August 29 issue of the magazine and can be viewed online at www.golfworld.com.

UA checked in at No. 10 in the preseason poll.

The Crimson Tide will head to Owings Mills, Md., to play in the NCAA Fall Preview on Sunday, Sept. 7 at the Caves Valley Golf Club.
