AUSTIN, Texas | The Alabama women’s golf team makes its third straight trip to NCAA Regional competition under head coach Mic Potter with today’s opening round of the Central Regional.

The Tide is paired with UCLA and Purdue and tees off at 9 a.m.

Alabama enters the regional as the No. 3 seed in the 21-team field. UCLA is the top seed and the No. 2 ranked team in the nation.

Seventh seed LSU is the only other SEC school in the field.

The Crimson Tide has reached the postseason in each of Mic Potter three seasons as coach. This is the 10th regional in school history and sixth since 2001.
