Tide track teams tune up for SECs

TUSCALOOSA | The University of Alabama men’s and women’s track teams will compete in their final tune-up for the SEC Championships by participating at the Mississippi Open this afternoon. The one-day event will begin at 11:30 a.m. at Ole Miss.
The meet will feature some of the top teams from the region, including individual athletes from Florida, Mississippi State, Southern Miss, Tulane, Vanderbilt, Jackson State and Memphis.
Alabama will train through the week to prepare for the SEC Championships, set for Thursday, May 15, at Auburn.
