UA's Fleshner qualifies for NCAA swimming and diving championships

AUBURN | Alabama diver Aaron Fleshner earned his second consecutive NCAA Championship berth Sunday, taking one of the 10 available out of the NCAA Zone B Championships being held here in the James E. Martin Aquatics Center on the Auburn campus.

Fleshner was fourth off the platform today after scoring 746 points over 12 dives. He was fifth off the three-meter board earlier in the meet.

Freshman Adam Booher also finaled off the platform, taking 18th off the platform, scoring 476.90 points.

Freshman Lauren Dunn, who finished eighth off the three-meter board Saturday with 553.55 points, is the first alternate on the women’s side, just missing an NCAA bid.

Fleshner will compete at the men’s NCAA Championships March 27-29 in Federal Way, Wash.
