10/20/07 - Tuscaloosa, AL - Alabama receiver DJ Hall (22) comes down with a touchdown reception during the first half of college football action vs. Tennessee Saturday at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, AL.

Hall hauled in 13 passes to set an Alabama record from most catches in a single game. The senior wideout passed David Bailey, who recorded 12 catches in a game twice in his Alabama career (1969 and 1970). Earlier this season, Hall surpassed Ozzie Newsome to become Alabama's all-time leading receiver in yards.

The effort was part of a Tide onslaught over rival Tennessee on the third Saturday in October, a 41-17 thumping over the No. 20 team in the nation.

John Parker Wilson had his finest game of the season in the lopsided victory, going 32-of-46 for 364 yards and three touchdowns. Hall ended the day with 185 yards receiving and 2 TDs.

Terry Grant rushed for 101 yards and a touchdown. The freshman also caught a 4-yard pass from Wilson that put Alabama up 10-0 in the first quarter.

Alabama improves to 6-2 overall, and 4-1 in SEC play. The Tide has a week off to prepare for LSU, who visits Tuscaloosa for a huge division matchup the first Saturday of November.
