WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. | Gator Todd is at 1-over par 145 and in a tie for eighth place going into today’s final round of the 2007 Ping/Golfweek Preview
The University of Alabama is one of 13 ranked teams in the field of 15.
Alabama is in seventh place at 15-over par 591. Oklahoma State is the team leader at 3-under going into the final round. The Cowboys shot 294-279--573 and have a three-shot lead over Charlotte (576). Tied at third are Southern Cal and Minnesota (586). UNLV is sixth (589), Alabama is seventh (591), Lamar eighth (593), Florida ninth (594), Texas A&M 10th (595), FSU 11th (597), team host Purdue 12th (598), Georgia State 13th (599), Louisville 14th (604) and Coastal Carolina 15th (624).
Todd, who is from Florence and the son of former Tide quarterback Richard Todd, had Alabama’s low totals for the day. He is five shots behind the individual leader, Charlotte’s Jonas Enander Hedin who is 4-under 140. Matt Hughes is at 146. Matthew Swan is at 150, Mark Harrell 152 and Joseph Sykora 155.
